The BS Anesthesia Technology program at Superior University is a specialized 4-year undergraduate degree program that trains students in anesthesia equipment operation, patient monitoring, regional and general anesthesia techniques, critical care monitoring, and pain management. Clinical placements are conducted in operation theatres at the in-house Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Teaching & Research Hospital (CMATRH), a 600-bed facility, and the curriculum is aligned with Pakistan Society of Anaesthesiologists standards.

Students receive real surgical team experience from early semesters, operating anesthesia workstations, ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitoring equipment under supervised clinical conditions. The 3U1M model ensures every graduate completes one full year of operational market experience before graduation.

TRANSFORMATIONAL JOURNEY

Discover your 3C Advantage

Character

Patient Safety as a Non-Negotiable Standard — An anesthesia technologist holds the patient's consciousness in their hands during every surgery. This program builds practitioners who approach every procedure with absolute precision, vigilance, and an unwavering commitment to patient safety above all other considerations.

Courage

The Courage to Perform Under Surgical Pressure — Operating theatres are high-stakes, fast-moving clinical environments. Students are trained to remain calm under pressure, respond decisively to equipment changes, and support anaesthesiologists with confidence and competence — even in the most critical surgical scenarios.

Competence

Technical Mastery of the OT Environment — Students build hands-on competence in anesthesia workstation operation, patient monitoring systems, airway management devices, infusion pumps, ventilators, and regional block ultrasound guidance — producing technologists who are operationally ready from their first day in any surgical facility.
