SITEX 2009

For the first time in the history of Superior academic career, Superior IT Club is organizing an annual mega-competition on national level.

IT Club and Superior University are aware of the fact that creativity and innovation are the only way to promote the culture of CS and IT in Pakistan, thus they pour efforts in the form of SITEX (Superior IT Exhibition). SITEX encompasses a learning platform packed with activities for the modern generation to get acquainted with the latest galore of technology and communication. This event is planned in a manner that will help students to polish their technical skills. Students from around the country would participate with their projects allowing other students to gain from their work.

In the opening ceremony of this exhibition, many Schools and Universities from all over Pakistan participated in various activities with full zeal and zest. A series of latest gaming competition was taken into place between different prominent institutes. On the other hand, an exhibition named ‘Idea Xtreme’ was also launched in the place where several schools displayed their projects and presentations regarding upcoming technological expansions. Moreover, Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab, Khawaja Ahmed Hassan was the Chief Guest of the event. Rector and Chief Executive Officer Superior University (Superior Group of Colleges), Prof. Dr. Ch. Abdul Rehman presided over ceremony. Pro-Rector (Academics), Dr. Zafar Iqbal was Guest of Honour.

For the upcoming days a number of activities like Programming, Quiz, E-Gaming, Circuit Designing, Web Idea and FYP Exhibition are going to be the part of this event. The occasion will be followed by celebrating SITEX Eve on top.
