Azra Naheed Center for Research & Developement
To promote research culture among our students, faculty, staff and society as a whole ANCRD is a highly formalized, systematic and objective oriented Research Center focused on two major research areas:
To provide a platform to scholars and students to enhance scholarly inquiry through cost-effective and cooperative programs providing reliable access through traditional and electronic resources in all disciplines.
To provide opportunities to students, faculty and management to work on commercial projects and provide consultancy to the corporate sector in the field of social and marketing research resulting in acquaintance with practical work scenarios and strengthening their profile.
In association and collaboration with various domestic and international organizations including United Nation (UN), The European Union (EU), HEX and the Ministry of Education, R & D projects are being carried out by the faculty and the Ph.D Scholars within Superior University under the supervision of foreign qualified and globally experienced Ph.Ds. External linkages are being established with Pakistani and foreign universities and research institutes. Beside conducting workshops and seminars on a regular basis the Center aims to publish its own scientific journal on a quarterly basis as well as conducting “a three day international research conference” next year. For this purpose the Center has already obtained membership of EAMSA (Europe Asia Management Studies Association) and at present is heading towards gaining the membership of EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development).
